Microsoft Launches TrainSim at Keen House! The long anticipated Microsoft Train Simulator was launched at The Model Railway Club's HQ, Keen House on 20th July 2001.
It was a great day and a lot of good fun as guests invited by Microsoft played with TrainSim on four PCs in our Upper Hall. Also available were Happisburgh Goods, Angel Transfer and The Caledonian Goods and Coal Yard so that the guests could compare running the trains on PC with the 'real' thing. The software looked really good, most of the guests stayed almost the whole afternoon. Thanks to Jo of the Red Consultancy and Microsoft for using our building. ©The Model Railway Club. |
