- Test tracks – a chance to run your models on our multigauge test tracks in all the major gauges from N to O (including 4 OO circuits) – whether you use DC or DCC
- Six layouts in a variety of gauges – with three currently available for exhibitions and another three in build (layout groups meet on a variety of days through the week)
- Access to our library – one of the largest collections of books on the prototype and modelling
- A workshop, equipped with key tools to help with model and layout construction

- Access to our club Forum to exchange ideas with fellow member or post details of your own projects.
- Lecture programme – monthly during the autumn, winter and spring a range of interesting speakers and subjects
- Bulletin – our bi-monthly publication – with an archive available to members in the private area
- Exhibitions – a chance to join a team taking a layout to exhibitions across the UK, and to help out at the London Festival of Railway Modelling each March
- Supporting the next generation – we support Young MRC that enables 8-14 year old girls and boys (and their parents) to develop their skills, and meet others of their own age with a shared interest
