Minories made the trip to Milton Keynes in October for the Great Electric Train Show. It was a late evening set up on the Friday, and we only just squeezed between the layouts either side that were already up when we got there. A fault in the wiring on a board (that had worked fine last time it was out) perplexed us and wasn’t working when we had to leave on Friday night, but an early start on Saturday with a fresh pair of minds saw it fixed well before opening time.

We’re still learning how to set up and operate the full round version most effectively, and we were also joined by a couple of new operators but hopefully the viewing public didn’t notice.

 

Especially pleasing was the display of the current Hornby Magazine as everyone walked in…
