The layout continues to develop, and its a good time for an update in one of the magazines, so we’ve got a photo shoot coming up this Friday 21st Feb which is a n added incentive to get some details completed. Before that we’ve got a running session on the Thursday evening from 7-9 – visitors are welcome with a donation gratefully received.

It’s a fresh start to the morning at Belle Isle Down Signal Box. Matthew’s Belle Isle Down signal box was glued down before Christmas and will be properly bedded in today.

Meanwhile the workmen are discussing how to carry on demolishing the old building is Rufford St.

The Belle Isle Up Home gantry is now substantially complete. The arms will be made to work, when servos are attached and actuated by the passage of trains. The layout will next be exhibiting at the London Festival of Railway Modelling on 21/22 March at Alexandra Palace.
